At Infinite Neurology we are proud to have a number of excellent specialist neurologist who bring with them a vast amount of experience and up to date expert knowledge in their chosen field of interest.

We are multilingual with combined fluency in the following languages, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, German, Vietnamese, Indian and Malay.

DR. John Ly

Dr John Ly is a neurology consultant with expansive experience in neurology and expertise in the field of stroke. He undertook a stroke Fellowship at the National Stroke Research Institute in the area of stroke, neuro-imaging, and cerebral amyloidosis. He has published widely in these areas. Currently he is a neurology consultant at Monash Health, Monash Medical Centre and Dandenong Hospital. Dr John Ly is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the Dept. of Medicine, Southern Clinical School, Monash University.He conducted his PhD at the University of Melbourne on “Stroke and Amyloid” using advanced brain imaging (PiB-PET). He has specific research interests and expertise in PET imaging, haemorrhagic stroke and small vessel disease.

DR. Subramanian Muthasamy

Dr Muthusamy graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed his Basic Physician and Neurology training at St Vincent's Hospital and Monash Health. He has completed a Fellowship in Epilepsy and Electroencephalography at Monash Health and is currently pursuing a PhD through Monash University on the topic of epileptic seizure and PNES diagnosis. His clinical interests include general neurology, epilepsy and electroencephalography.

DR. Jason Vuong

Dr Jason Vuong consults as a General Neurologist with a special interest in Stroke and Stroke Prevention. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Melbourne and completed his Neurology training at Monash Health and Peninsula Health. He completed a Fellowship in Stroke Medicine at Monash Health, and is pursuing a PhD through Monash University to advance the treatment options of patients with ischaemic strokes. He currently works as a Consultant Stroke Neurologist at Monash Health. Alongside his clinical and academic work, he holds a position as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at Monash Health, Faculty of Medicine Nursing & Health Sciences, delivering medical education to students at Monash University. Dr Vuong’s passion is to improve patient outcomes and health service standards.
